Hi Posey!

Today I was playing in the garden with my momma, Lizzie, and my sisters and my grandma and Clarence, Deborah, Izzy and all these other cavaliers (I don't remember all their names), when Kal and Rebecca came over. I remembered Rebecca from last time she visited, but I met Kal for the first time ever and we got along really well. They brought me a piggy but my sisters are bigger than me so they ran off with it. Rebecca got it back for me later.

Phyllis, the lady that took care of my family and I, talked to Kal and Rebecca for a long time. Then finally she made them sign a paper and they gave her a lot of money. That's when I got in the car with Kal and Rebecca and we started our adventure. On the way to my new home we stopped and bought a play pen for me. Then we got stuck in traffic which sucked because Rebecca's car has no air conditioning. Kal gave me some water out of a bottle cap though, so I didn't get thirsty.

I like our house. It's fun to follow Rebecca & Kal around while they do things. First they set up my bed and then they made me my usual food and they ate sandwiches. After we ate I peed on the kitchen floor, but Bex & Kal didn't get mad cuz I didn't know better. I'm learning, though.

We were already really tired from our day, cuz Bex & Kal had to get up early to come get me, plus we went on a long hot car ride and I played a lot already this morning, so we decided to all take a nap on the bed. I really like the bed. It's soft and it smells like my new parents. When I woke up I climbed around on K&B a lot, then I peed on the bed. Oops. They didnt' seem mad. They just said "oh no!" and rolled over and went back to sleep.



When we woke up from our nap Kal wasn't feeling good, so Bex and I played until he was feeling better and then we walked to the park. Kal & Bex walked, anyway. I rode in between Kal's hoodie and his body, which was nice cuz less people stared at me that way, plus I got in a little extra sleep. The Park was really fun. I played with Piggie and I got to run around a lot. People stopped and admired me a lot because I'm the cutest puppy in the world. It's kind of ridiculous. I also tried out my new harness & leash. The people say it's cute, but I don't' get it: it's weird when a toy is really fun but sort of itchy at the same time. Plus Kal and Bex tried to use it to pull me around, which was weird cuz sometimes I just felt like playing with it in one place.



After we got home Bex set up my play pen and Kal made dinner while I slept on a pile of clothes in their bedroom. The playpen is alright when they leave the door open, but sometimes K & B trick me and shut the door when I'm sleeping or eating, and it makes me cry. Rebecca and Kal ignore me when I first start to cry, but if I do it long enough they eventually come to get me. After dinner I didn't pee inside. I waited until we went outside and Kal and Bex tried to pull me around in the itchy harness toy. It's weird cuz it's like they wanted me to follow them around but I was tired and just wanted to sit and enjoy the fresh air. But then I went to the bathroom in my favorite thing: a pile of leaves. It made Bex & Kal really happy and they stopped pulling me around in itchy harness toy and carried me home. Now I get to relax all night while K&B watch a movie with no dogs in it, I think it's called little miss sunshine. it's been a long day, so i don't think i can stay awake for a movie. i have to say, though, i really like my new home, and all the attention I get all for myself when there are no other cavaliers around.



p.s. while rebecca was watching the movie she fell asleep, then woke up really hot. kal told her it's 'cause she was wearing a cavalier scarf. I was laying across her neck. man am i cute.
