Hi Loretta!

Hi everybody! I am Loretta, officially. It took mom and dad a few days to agree on my new name. I got adopted by Kal and Bex on Tuesday, and today is Friday. We've been so busy getting settled that I haven't had a chance to write anything for the blog until now. Yesterday we went to the park (the part with the dog beach) for a long time and I got my first bath. I don't know how I feel about water yet, but tomorrow we're going to the (real) beach so maybe I'll like the ocean better than I like the pond and baths. Today is a sleepy day. My little sister hardly ever wakes up, but when she does she plays and plays and then goes back to sleep. I lay around a lot, but I don't sleep as much as she does. I really really like being in Rebecca's lap, and it makes me sad when she walks around the house without me. I miss my dad today. He's at work and mom says he won't be home until almost 9:00! that's really late and i don't know if i can take it. but my mom also said that dad doesn't have to work for the entire weekend, so i get to spend every single minute with him until Monday. I hope she means it! Well, I'm gonna try to get Bex to take me to the park now so I better go. Later guys!
